Press Conference: Advocates Rally Against Alleged Assault on Inspector Teju Moses

At a Press Conference by coalition of human rights organisations and gender activists, on Friday, September 23, 2022 in protested against the alleged assault of a young police orderly, Inspector Teju Moses, by one Prof. Zainab Abiola.
The Founding Director of Women’s Aid Collective and former Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Prof. Joy Ezeilo, led the protesters during a press conference in Abuja on behalf of the coalition.

The event was attended by the Country Director of ActionAid Nigeria, Ene Obi; Chairperson, International Federation of Women Lawyers (Abuja Chapter), Chibuzo Nwosu; Executive Director of International Society of Media and Public Health, Moji Makanjuola; Chief Executive of Inclusive Skills Development Initiative  Angelina Ugben; Rahila Dauda (Women in Politics Forum); Coordinator, Network of Police Reforms in Nigeria Foundation, Emmanuel Ikule and Director of Programmes in AAN, Suwaiba Dankabo.
